Wake Forest Baptist Health’s Division of Hospital Medicine is adding four new Advanced Practice Providers (Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants) to our accomplished overnight team due to growth.

1. Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center – Winston-Salem, NC
   Academic Medical Center | Total Staffed Beds: 873
2. High Point Regional – High Point, NC
   Community Hospital | Total Staffed Beds: 326

Role Overview

• Reports To: APP Supervisor & Physician In-Charge
• Schedule: 7 on/7 off
• Nightshift: 7 pm to 7 am
• Shifts Per Year: 182 plus accrued time off
• EMR: EPIC
• Location: North Carolina
• Compensation: Above Average
• Benefits: Robust Package
• Relocation Package: Up to $5k

Primary Duties

• Coverage of all issues that come up overnight for existing hospitalist patients
• Documentation related to history and physicals, and discharge summaries as needed
• Leading rapid responses on appropriate patients
• Diagnostic, testing, and treatment evaluations with appropriate documentation
• Ongoing process and quality improvement in patient care
• Maintaining a safe patient care and work environment

Our Preferred Credentials

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Program or Nurse Practitioner Program
• Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner (ACNP, AG-ACNP)

• Minimum of two years of hospitalist experience preferred (days or nights)
• Team player who enjoys working independently
• NC medical license in good standing or the ability to obtain
