Envision Physician Services is seeking Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants for our Hospitalist Program at Froedtert Kenosha Hospital.

Froedtert Kenosha Hospital is a part of the Froedtert and Medical College of Wisconsin health network and has served the southeastern Wisconsin community for more than a century. They are committed to providing exceptional and compassionate healthcare services that promote the dignity and well-being of the people they serve. They are a modern, state-of-the-art facility that operates with high efficiency. The ED features twenty-three private exam rooms and full ancillary services. The facility is also equipped with dedicated reading rooms for image analysis, high tech PET/CT scans and digital mammography. MRI, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, PET/CT Scanning, Densitometry and Laboratory services are among the many services offered.

The nurse practitioner or physician assistant is an advanced practice provider providing care for hospitalized patients in accordance with necessary site and state rules and regulations. Working in collaboration with the attending physician, the Hospital Medicine NP or PA-C assists in managing hospitalized patients. Night shift focus includes admissions and rapid response intervention. The NP or PA-C has specialized skill and knowledge related to the inpatient setting and performs physical exams, collects, and documents data, conducts approved diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, orders and schedules laboratory studies and professional consultations, prescribes appropriate interventions and medications. The NP or PA-C contributes to excellence in patient care, research, teaching, consulting, and provides leadership to the organization and nursing profession. Other duties as assigned.

We require previous critical care or inpatient medicine experience.
