TeamHealth is seeking an excellent hospitalist nurse practitioner (NP) or physician assistant (PA) to join our team at Walker Baptist Medical Center in the Birmingham, Alabama, area. This position offers an opportunity to grow your career in an area close to Birmingham, with moderate volumes, a very sharp and established hospital medicine (HM) team. This role is primarily responsible for admissions and discharges within the facility. The advanced practice provider (APP) hired for this role will work a swing shift schedule from 1PM to 1AM with a 7-on, 7-off block schedule rotation.

- 267 Bed Facility with a 24 bed ICU
- EMR: EPIC
- Walker Baptist offers a full range of services including fast, life-saving response times for patients with chest pain or stroke systems: cardiology, orthopedics, including rehabilitation, psychiatric care, urology and detox therapy
- Located just 45 minutes to Birmingham and within driving distance to Huntsville
- 7-on, 7-off block schedule model
- Full-time swing shift/12-hour shifts
- Work with a established and highly skilled hospital medicine (HM) team
