Optum is looking for an Experienced, Full-Time, Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our hospitalist team at Huntington Hospital in Pasadena, CA. The clinicians we seek are those who practice medicine with a focus on patient care, not volume. We want our clinicians to take the time needed to truly address the patient’s needs.

Position Details

  • 7on/7off, 7am to 7pm
  • Based at Huntington Hospital (sometimes flex to Arcadia Methodist)
  • Join 21 Hospitalists & 2 Other NP’s on the Inpatient Team
  • 10-15 Patient Encounters Per Shift
  • ICU & Step Down Not Required
  • Plenty of Physician Support, When Needed
  • Consults Available for All Adult Sub-Specialties

Requirements

  • Unrestricted CA Medical License
  • Current CA DEA certificate required prior to start date
  • CA Driver's license active in good standing
  • Current association certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Preferences

  • Fluency in Spanish highly desire
  • 2 + years of experience in an inpatient setting as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
