ECU Health Physicians and the ECU Health Palliative Care team, located in Greenville North Carolina, are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their established Hospice and Palliative Care team. Applicants should have a minimum of 2 years of experience. Hospice and/or palliative care experience is preferred.

Clinical Responsibilities:

  • Perform clinical assessments and consultations in acute care setting
  • Complete patient admission and discharges
  • Perform daily clinical rounds on inpatient units
  • Develop and update patient plans of care
  • Provide clinical support for the unit and field staff
  • Direct/participate in family conferences and interdisciplinary team meetings
  • Participate in agency Quality Improvement and Patient/Family Experience activities
