Nurse Practitioner provides advanced assessment of the GI patient; initiates, performs, and interprets diagnostic tests and/or endoscopic procedures; provide evidenced-based treatments, therapies, and procedures; prescribe pharmacological agents within prescriptive authority; work closely with GI physicians in practice.
