A Barton Associates client in New York is looking for a gastroenterologist PA who can provide locum tenens coverage for approximately six months beginning in early April (or sooner) with a possible extension. On the job, the provider can expect to see up to fifteen patients per day, mostly 18+ for a variety of cases including screenings, colonoscopy, endoscopy, constipation and diarrhea. The locum will do follow up consultation with patients after procedures, see new patients, follow up on labs and follow up on notes that are back logged. The locum will work 4-5 days per week from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Excellent communication skills and Chinese (Cantonese) speaking skills are required. This facility uses Practice Fusion EMR.
