We have an APP opportunity for a medical center in southern Texas.

Position Highlights:

• Occ Med, Urgent Care, Primary Care, Family Practice
• 100% Outpatient
• Start: ASAP for 13 weeks
• Monday – Friday, 9a-6p each day
• Adults Only, ages 18+
• 20-40 pts/day
• Services include work comp, physicals, minor emergencies, injury care, pre-employment services, drug screens, physical therapy, online reporting, and an expanded complement of occupational health services
• Must be able to suture a laceration, diagnose orthopedic injuries, read ortho x-rays autonomously, and remove free-floating eye debris
• Quick credentialing
• Spanish-speaking is a PLUS, but not required

Requirements:

• Active Texas license
• Active DOT Certification
• Current State Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioners Licensure
• Current State DEA licensure
• State Controlled Substance Licensure, if required by State Law
• Current CPR Registration
• Current Registration with National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners
• Experience in UC, ER, FP, Occ Med, or Ortho, preferred
• Authorized to work in the USA
