PA needed for locum tenens assignment on Wake Island (south Pacific island that is a possession of the US)
Need is for a 30-day rotation starting May 25th. (Will have more dates in the future)
MUST HAVE ACTIVE HI LICENSE
Must have clean background, pass background check for past 10 years. Will have to pass a "fit for duty" physical.
Will be working on a small, remote island. Will see patients on the island, mix of native population, government and military. Will see mainly adults. Total population of 80-100 people. Will work in a very small clinic but must be on call for 24 hours.
Primary Care - colds, coughs, wellness, suturing, casting, etc. Anything major will call for MedEvac to Hawaii which is 500 miles away.
Travel, lodging and meals are paid for.
