- Perform comprehensive medical assessments
- Diagnose potential wellness and or acute care needs in an outpatient setting
- See patients of all ages (0-100), experience with adolescents strongly preferred
- Make appropriate referrals for medical and/or social problems
- Participates in patient education and counseling services, especially about family planning,
- STD’S/HIV, preventive health and nutrition.
- Interprets laboratory data
- Participate in in-service education, and on-going NP education initiatives within the organization
