Position Qualifications/Requirements:

• Degree/Education: Be a graduate of a PA educational program accredited by the Committee of Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA) on behalf of the American Medical Association.
• Certification: Certifications in addition to Basic Life Support (5.2.3): Have and maintain

certification as a physician assistant by the National Commission on Certification of

Physician Assistants (NCCPA).

• Experience: Have a minimum of two years of experience within the last three years routinely practicing as a physician assistant in rendering primary care medicine (i.e. family practice, general medicine, internal medicine.)
• Licensure/Registration: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Physician Assistant in one of the 50 states in the U.S. or the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands as required in the TO. Possess and maintain a current Drug Enforcement Administration registration number certificate to prescribe medication.
