Nurses Etc. Staffing is working with the Department of Defense to hire a full-time Family Medicine Physician Assistant/PA to work at Raymond W. Bliss Army Health Center in Fort Huachuca, Arizona. Fort Huachuca is located just 59 miles from Tucson, Arizona. This is a great opportunity for a PA/Physician Assistant seeking a quality of life change while continuing their medical career. Please note this is not a VA position. Raymond W. Bliss Army Health Center is a military treatment facility serving active duty military, their family members, and beneficiaries.

Position Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Degree: Bachelor’s Degree
  • Education: Graduation from a physician assistant educational program, accredited by the Accreditation Review Committee on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARCPA), or its predecessors, at a college, university, or educational institution that is accredited by an accrediting body or organization recognized by the Secretary, U.S. Department of Education.
  • Certification: Basic Life Support. Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician’s Assistants (NCCPA).
  • Experience: At least one year of experience as a certified physician assistant prior to commencement of this contract. Specialized experience is defined as: performing medical screening examinations, reviewing medical history, prescribing medications, interpreting radiographs and lab results, or diagnosing medical conditions on patients of all ages.
  • Licensure/Registration: Successful completion of the National Commission of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) examination; must maintain status as a certified physician assistant, including completion of all requirements for continuing medical education (CME) and re-certification.
