ARCH Placement is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a community health group in Northern California.

*Job Summary*

We are looking to add a full-time Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner to the highly skilled staff of over 90 employees at our rural community health center in Northern California.

*Responsibilities and Duties*

The PA/ NP will provide direct primary medical care including diagnosis, treatment and referral under physician supervision. It is expected that the PA/ NP will provide direct patient care to 22-25 patients per eight hour working day. The Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner may be required to provide services at outreach clinics and is directly responsible to the Medical Director.

*Qualifications and Skills*


Must have an understanding of the practice of medicine in a community health facility, of the roles of various health personnel and of the ethics and laws under which medicine is practiced and governed. Graduated from an accredited school training persons to perform as non-MD Clinicians. The NP / PA must have certification by California State Board of Medical Examiners and current licensure, and current ACLS/CPR certification.

Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, be flexible, work both independently and as a team. Must have the ability to work various shifts, occasional Saturday shifts, and rotate when needed to other sites.

Salary - $95,000 and up depending on experience
