Greensboro North Carolina Physician Assistant Nurse Practitioner Urgent Care

The Urgent Care is recruiting for both full-time and part-time Physician Assistants Nurse Practitioner to join our team. Our employees will enjoy working in a brand new facility, with state-of-the-art equipment, and an easy to use EMR. We are looking for candidates that truly care about their patients, work well independently and as part of a team, and are a looking to grow with our clinic.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide general and preventative care for children and adults
  • Assess, plan and treat patient needs within an urgent care setting and triage patients to differentiate between immediate and less urgent care
  • Perform minor outpatient surgical procedures such as wound closure and management, and incession and drainage
  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic orthopedic procedures such as application and modification of braces, casts, splints, and other orthopedic appliances
  • Effectively manage private, pre-employment and worker's comp patients
  • Order labs, tests, injections, referrals and prescribe medications
  • Ensure proper diagnosis, handling, and recovery
  • May supervise Radiologic Technologists and Medical Assistants to assure compliance of all applicable regulations
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned

Educational/Experience Requirements:

  • Must possess a current license to practice medicine in North Carolina, or have the ability to obtain a North Carolina license
  • Successfully graduated from an accredited Physician Assistant Nurse Practitioner Training Program and received and maintained certification
  • Current DEA registration
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Urgent Care, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine
  • Ability to read and interpret X-Rays
