Endocrinology NP Opening in Maryland
- Located in Westminster, MD - Baltimore 35m
- Join two well-established endocrinologists in a growing practice
- Call rotation is 1:3 with large majority being phone call coverage only
- Must have Endocrinology experience
- 5+ years of experiencing managing diabetic patients and other endo-related disorders.
Desired Candidate:
- CRNP with endocrinology experience. Will consider CRNPs with extensive internal medicine experience, who have a strong background in treating and educating diabetic patients.
- Ability to examine, diagnose, and treat or recommend courses of treatment for adult diseases, with emphasis on disorders of the endocrine system and metabolism in the outpatient practice as well as provide inpatient consults on a rotating basis.
- Will advise, order, and perform appropriate tests and interpret results.
- Discuss diagnoses with patients, explain treatment options, and provide advice on medications, lifestyle and dietary changes, and other preventative measures.
- Will carry out follow-up appointments, monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans and medications, update patient records, and make referrals as needed.
- Remain up-to-date on current best practices, developments, trends, research, and technology.
- Attain timely completion of patient encounter documentation and billing.
