Seeking Experienced Lead APP at Atrium Health Cabarrus

Details

  • The Lead APP's primary responsibility is to care for patients by building highly reliable, high-performing APP clinicians who are part of the physician-APP team to produce effective outcomes for their patients and the organization
  • The Site Lead APP is responsible for providing leadership of all APP Emergency Department staff at this hospital
  • Collaboration with the Medical Director, Emergency Physicians, ED Nursing leadership team and hospital medical staff to ensure the ED care delivery model achieves high-quality emergency care that evolves to match the needs of the patients, the department, the hospital and the community
  • As a leader, the Lead APP is held accountable for creating an inclusive work environment, providing recognition, performance coaching and career guidance to the APP team and creating a pipeline of talent for the organization

  • 457-bed adult tertiary acute care facility located 20 miles from downtown Charlotte
  • Level III trauma center
  • Jeff Gordon Children’s Hospital on campus
  • All specialties available for back up
  • Interventional Cardiology is available 24/7

Emergency Department

  • ED Volume: 56,000
  • 25% admission rate
  • Broad patient pathology, high acuity
  • Large and efficient ED layout with 44 treatment beds
  • All studies are reviewed on the Stentor PACS system with a viewing station available at the physician desk
  • Advanced new EMR fully integrates ED with hospital and allows easy review of records from all other CMC hospitals and clinics
  • Transfers are 20 minutes by ground to Carolina Medical Center
