OPEN POSITION:
Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Dermatology


SCHEDULE:
- Full-Time and Part-Time Available
- Monday to Friday
- 8:00am to 5:00pm
- No Nights, Weekends, or On-Call


FULL-TIME COMPENSATION:
- $90,000 to $150,000 Base Salary, dependent upon experience
- Additional Bonus Model

COMPANY PROFILE:
This private dermatology practice opened in 2012 and currently employs 4 physicians and 1 physician assistant. They offer a wide variety of services, including but not limited to, medical dermatology, surgical dermatology, cosmetic dermatology, skin care treatments, aesthetic services, hair restoration, and pediatric dermatology. They are currently hiring due to growth.


POSITION DESCRIPTION:
This is an outpatient setting and the new provider will work with a highly-trained clinical assistant who will room/prep patients and assist in procedures as necessary.

The services of the practice include:

- medical dermatology
- surgical dermatology
- cosmetic dermatology
- pediatric dermatology
- skin care treatments
- aesthetic services
- hair restoration

The new NP or PA will, among other duties:

- work within medical and surgical dermatology (no cosmetic work)
- have their own independent patient panel
- consult on dermatologic conditions
- perform follow-up visits with established patients
- perform dermatologic procedures
- work with a BIPOC patient demographic

Current providers typically see between 35 and 40 patients per day, dependent upon services scheduled, anticipated length of appointments, and support staff involvement.

The offices use an electronic health record.


REQUIREMENTS:
- Texas NP or PA license
- DEA
- at least 1 year of dermatology experience
- experience or training in BIPOC-specific dermatology needs
