Cardiac Surgery Group in Boston, MA is hiring experienced Cardiothoracic Physician Assistant's or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner's!

Candidate will only work 3 nights per week to be considered full time, will also consider per diem candidates!

This position will be a non-operative role. The Candidate will cover all aspects of cardiothoracic Clinical duties; ICU management, pre and post-operative care. No cardiac surgery job in Boston provides a greater opportunity to be involved in all aspects of patient care. Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners play a pivotal role on this service. The NP/PA team covers all aspects of pre and post-operative care, including ICU management. Candidate will only work 3 12 hour shifts, mostly day shift, only working 2 nights per month!

Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner. The Center is in a period of rapid growth. The service performs a wide range of cardiac surgery, including minimally invasive, robotic, and trans-catheter valve replacement.

Responsibilities include independently rounding with the team, caring for post-operative patients in the ICU and floor, admitting transfers from outside facilities and the emergency department, seeing consultations
Proficiency in ICU bedside procedures such as central lines, Swan Ganz catheter placement, arterial lines
Proficiency in basic ICU vasoactive medications and ventilator management

Offering a Sign-On/Relocation bonus of up to $10,000 for experienced Full Time Advanced Practitioners for the Cardiac Surgery position. $75-80 PER HOUR!

We are seeking candidates with a background in cardiac surgery or critical care.
Graduate of NCCPA approved Physician Assistant Program or Board Certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioners
Massachusetts Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner License
NCCPA Board Certified or Board Eligible
BLS Certified
ACLS Certified
