JOB INFORMATION:
◊ Coverage Dates: After credentialing; October Start into 2022
◊ Shift: 7p-7a night shifts
◊ Type of Cases: ICU patients – combination of medical, surgical, vascular and neurology
◊ Patients Volume: Census normally 6-8 per day; in extreme circumstances can be as high as 16-18
◊ Practice Setting: Medical ICU
◊ Support Staff: nurses, residents, ER
◊ Number of Beds: 24 bed ICU, but 6 beds are designated Heart beds, and all Heart and Trauma
patients will not be the responsibility of this coverage and instead handled by those teams
◊ Ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of Critical Care experience with strong ICU/Medical background.
(Surgical experience is helpful but not required)
REQUIREMENTS:
◊ Procedures: Arterial and Central lines.
◊ Certification Required: ALS, BLS
◊ Certified Acute Care NP or PA.
◊ MI DEA and CSR
