Physician Assistant in the MICU & SD

The Physician Assistant within the Medical ICU & Step Down will join a team of established advanced practitioners who cover the Medical ICU and Medical Step Down units. Advanced Practitioners enjoy using their extensive knowledge to provide patient care for the complex critically ill patients requiring multiple technologies and advanced life support. Advanced Practitioners will practice in a collaborative environment with an intensivist, attending physicians, and other highly skilled members of the healthcare team.

Shift: Days with rotation to nights, weekends and holidays - 13 hour shifts, 3 Days a week. Full-Time (40hrs)

We offer an extensive orientation period for new Physician Assistant or new to critical care.

Advanced Practitioner Requirements:

Physician Assistants (PA) positions require current CT Physician Assistants (PA) License and Board certification or eligible. All disciplines require the demonstrated ability to positively interact with medical and nursing staff. Critical Care experience preferred but not required.
