Wonderful opportunity in the Capital city of Hartford, Connecticut for an experienced Critical Care Practitioner. This is a full time, permanent opportunity for this Hospitals Neurology Unit. Become part of their multidisciplinary team that cares for complex neuro patients with a focus on neurological disorders and diseases. Must have at least 1 year of experience as an Acute Care NP or PA in a Critical Care setting.

Responsibilities of the Neuro Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant:
- Treating Complex Neuro disorders and diseases
- The patient population includes Complex strokes, status epilepticus, skull base surgery, tumor resections, spinal cord injury, DBS, and other complex neuro.
- This ACNP or PA will rotate in the ICU and Step-Down units
- Managing multiple patients with a wide variety of diseases, comprehensive assessments, diagnostic testing, vent management, and patient/family meetings
Requirements of this Critical Care Advanced Practitioner: ACNP, AGACNP, PA:
- Graduate of a Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioners Master’s Program
- Must be Acute Care NP or PA to be considered
- Able to obtain a CT license
- National Board Certification of an AACN or ANCC
- Neurology experience is preferred
