Piedmont Heart Institute (PHI), located in the heart of Atlanta, needs Critical Care Physician Assistants/Nurse Practitioners. PHI’s critical care extenders provide 24-hour, on-site coverage to high acuity patients while delivering the best care possible. This is a full time position. We are seeking knowledgeable, highly motivated, and dedicated Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) who have a strong desire to work in a dynamic environment and excel in Cardiovascular Critical Care. Work with top critical care physicians in an autonomous environment where your skills and input are valued. You will become competent in a multitude of critical procedures and management strategies to include vascular access and line placements, bedside US, mechanical ventilation, hemodynamics, and complex mechanical circulatory support including ECMO and LVADs.

As a cardiovascular critical care APP, you will be part of a collaborative team who provide specialized care for patients pre and post cardiovascular surgery including heart transplantation, patients with advanced heart failure, cardiogenic shock, and other complex multi-organ problems.

In this role:

Minimum Requirements:

PA: Graduate of a Physician Assistants program with current Georgia license

NP: Graduate from a school of nursing with current Georgia license for Advanced Practice Nursing and a Master’s degree in Nursing
