Advanced Practitioner for Breast Care Navigation

We need a caring, compassionate, warm person to navigate our Breast Care Program. This program was conceived in 2000 and implemented in 2001. The program continues to grow in all directions. In your role, you will be assisted by a 0.5 RN and support staff. You will provide healthcare guidance to patients and collaborate with stakeholders to map out a seamless system for patient breast health pathways. You will work closely with our Cancer Center Medical Director, Surgeons, OB/Gyns, Radiologists, Pathologists, and Primary Care Physicians as an advocate for all.

We are looking for a Master's Degree in Nursing or Graduate of an American Medical Association approved Physician Assistant educational program. Current CPR and ACLS certification required.

We provide top of the line diagnostics such as 3D mammography, MRI, and 64 slice CT scanning with 24 hour result turn around for negative studies and a database that tracks every aspect of all patients.

Hospital recognized in May 2015 by U.S. News and World Report as one of 42 Best Hospitals for Common Care conditions and procedures. Received an “A” Rating from The Leapfrog Group® for hospital safety and the 2015 Healthgrades® Patient Safety Excellence Award. RRMC scored in the top 5% of hospitals in the national standardized Press-Ganey Physician Survey for “Teamwork between providers and nurses,” “Expertise of the nursing staff,” and “Performance of Administration.”

Patient population practice will see all ages, but primarily adult. This is a Monday – Friday position, with patient hours scheduled in a 40 hour work week. No call. We are the second largest hospital in the state and licensed for 188 beds – daily average census of 100-125.

Competitive Salary and Benefit package.
