We are hiring an experienced Critical Care Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant to join our growing Critical Care Team, very high acuity 20 bed Intensive Care Unit in NH!

The camaraderie of the team is strong and are highly valued by the hospital. 5K-10K Sign on Bonus!!Schedule: 3/12's or 4/10's (Flexible) Nocturnist and Rotating Shifts Available!!

APP's will Participate in daily multidisciplinary rounds. Formulating differential diagnoses based on history, physical, clinical and diagnostic findings; Develope treatment plans which may include further diagnostic testing, pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical interventions, and patient/family education; Performe consultations for the Cardiothoracic & Vascular Surgical and Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine services, and following a cohort of patients comprised of these two specialties; Guide the post-operative course of patients recovering from the following procedures: CABG, valve repair/replacement, TAVR, EVAR, and VATS; Accurately identify and responding to acute and emergent clinical situations. Utilizing advanced critical thinking and critical care skills to intervene; Manage patients on mechanical ventilators, CRRT, IABP, VADs and ECMO. Performing invasive procedures including central venous catheters, arterial lines, PICC lines, endotracheal intubations, thoracentesis, paracentesis, chest tubes, and lumbar punctures; Contribute to efficient delivery of high quality critical care by identifying areas of concern, working with appropriate parties to make changes, educating staff, and demonstrating initiative in ongoing self-education in the field of critical care medicine.
