Nurse Practitioner-Critical Care Medicine
Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center

Overview: Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center is situated in the heart of Hollywood. It has been serving the Hollywood area since 1924. Over the years, the hospital has seen much growth and has evolved to accommodate the diverse needs of the community. The hospital now has 434 beds as well as a 30 bed ICU. It is considered an acute-care facility. In addition, the hospital employs over 500 physicians representing almost all specialties of medicine. The hospital continues to grow and is quickly becoming one of the best healthcare facilities in the greater Los Angeles area.
Our group is providing full-time Critical Care Intensivist support at the hospital. We are beginning with 8 hour shifts for physicians. Beginning in the fall, we will have 8 hours per day of APC coverage. Ideally looking for 12-14 shifts a month of shift coverage.
Requirements:
About the Community: Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center is located in the heart of Hollywood. A sprawling area full of restaurants, museums, art galleries, and of course the Hollywood walk of fame. The hospital is about a thirty minute drive from downtown LA and about a forty five minute to an hour drive from LAX. It’s only about a twenty five minute drive to the Burbank airport which is easy to arrive and depart from. There are plenty of hotels to choose from near the hospital. The hospital serves the multicultural community with top notch medical care. The hospital is located on the corner of Vermont Avenue and Fountain Avenue in Hollywood, California.
Compensation:
Advanced Practice Clinicians (APC) are employees of VEP. They receive an hourly base rate and an opportunity to earn productivity compensation at specific sites. APCs are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package which includes health, vision, dental, and life insurance, profit sharing, 401k, CME and license allowances. Our APCs also enjoy the benefit of flexible schedules, paid malpractice insurance with tail coverage and the opportunity to become a shareholder which allows them to become actively involved in the governance of the company.

Requirements:
- California Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license
- DEA License with California registration
- Board Certification (NCCPA, AANP or ANCC)
- ACLS/PALS certification
- At least one year of ICU/Hospitalist experience
- Must have rounding experience
