ECU Health Physicians and The East Carolina Heart Institute at ECU Health Medical Center, in Greenville, NC, is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join a growing Cardiac Surgery Intermediate Unit Team. The successful candidate will work with 7 Cardiac Surgeons and 5 Physician Assistants/Nurse Practitioners. Job responsibilities include participation in daily patient rounds with the interdisciplinary team, admission history and physical examinations, ongoing patient assessments and post-operative patient care, as well as pre and postoperative care in the clinic. New graduates are encouraged to apply.

East Carolina Heart Institute
The East Carolina Heart Institute at ECU Health Medical Center is eastern North Carolina’s preferred facility for cardiovascular services. The six-story, 375,000-square-foot tower houses clinical space, diagnostic services and cardiovascular operating rooms, including a hybrid operating room. It features 120 beds for patients undergoing procedures for cardiac medicine, cardiac surgery and vascular surgery.
