This position provides professional and competent anesthesia care to a wide variety of patients from neonatal through lifespan population, requiring surgical, obstetrical and other anesthesia services. Supports and contributes to the patient-centered care philosophy that every team member is a caregiver who cares about the needs of each patient.
Essential Functions:
· Perform pre-anesthetic evaluations of patients.
· Develop and collaborate anesthetic care plan with anesthesiologist.
· Provide anesthesia care to patients with complicated, pre-existing diseases and advanced disease states
· Appropriately and legibly document according to departmental and hospital standards.
· Maintain flexibility with scheduling, promptness and readiness with equipment and case.
· Professionalism through teamwork and support
· Conserve resources to address cost containment
