A long established and highly regarded Anesthesia Group on the North Shore of Boston is actively recruiting for MDs and CRNAs. The group is affiliated with a member hospital of the newly formed integrated healthcare system. System is comprised of 4 prestigious academic medical centers and several top tier community hospitals in the metro Boston/Eastern Massachusetts area. Hospital is a 221-bed community hospital that has achieved the title of Truven Top 100 Hospitals 7 times. It is one of only 40 hospitals nationwide to have achieved A grades for patient safety and patient outcomes since Leapfrogs inception in 2012.
The Anesthesia Group is currently comprised of 8 full time MDs and 3 part timers, as well as 14 CRNAs, 8 of whom work full time. The group covers 10 to 14 sites including 8 ORs. Call is shared equally among the MDS. Weekday first call shifts are only 13 hours with pre and post call days off. On average, physicians are responsible for 3 first calls and 3 second calls per month. The Group provides regional and OB anesthesia services. It does not provide cardiac, neuro or critical care services. The group offers a very supportive and collegial environment.
