As a part of the OptumCare network, Riverside Medical Group is seeking an Urgent Care Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our growing team. Position Highlights:

  • Open 8am- 8pm, 7 days per week
  • Providers typically work 12 hour shifts
  • Average patient load = 3-4 patients per hour
  • Full licensed medical team and support staff
    • Responsibilities include:
      • Suturing
      • Splinting
      • Initial interpretation with digital X-Rays
      • Incisions and drainage

Required Qualifications:

  • Current, unrestricted Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state where this job will be performed or be in process of obtaining
  • Master's degree in Physician Assistant program or Nursing
  • Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the ANCC/AANP or certified as a Physician Assistant through the NCCPA
  • Must be CPR certified (or willing to obtain prior to start)
  • DOT certification (or ability to obtain within the first 60 days of employment)
  • You will be provisioned with appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and are required to perform this role with patients and members on site, as this is an essential function of this role.
  • Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement of this role. UnitedHealth Group will adhere to all federal, state and local regulations as well as all client requirements and will obtain necessary proof of vaccination prior to employment to ensure compliance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience working as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in an emergency or urgent care setting
  • Willing and able to assist at other center locations in the area
