A client in Pennsylvania is looking for 6 months of coverage beginning in mid-April. The schedule will be 10-15 hours per week for on site coverage at two days minimum. This is an addiction medicine residential program. There will be standard H&P's Psych evals and new admissions. The locum will administer history and physicals, review labs and tests (if applicable), monitor continued stays, sick calls, and preparing discharges (scripts etc.).
Provides support and resources to the residential program via phone and on-site as needed. You will work with the nursing staff to make sure the medication are cost effective for the client after discharge, coordinate with the Psychiatrist and/or CRNP for medication and treatment of the client, coordinate (with the help of the nursing staff) with the primary care physician and medical team when appropriate, coordinate with the outpatient providers, responsible for chart reviews, provide on-call coverage as needed, via phone and on-site as needed, and complete required trainings and mandatory training hours. The facility uses CareLogic EMR.
