A mental health facility in Illinois is looking for an addiction medicine physician assistant who can provide locum tenens coverage for approximately two and a half months beginning in late May with a high chance of extension. On a typical day, the locum tenens PA can expect to see between three and five patients aged 18+ for a variety of cases: Assessing patients as to whether or not they should be put into a treatment program plus prescribing medicine, not much of any medical procedures done. Its more consulting/counseling. The provider will work 3/5 hours a day, typically from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. or from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Schedule is flexible. This facility uses Paper Charting.
