St. Luke's is currently seeking an APP (NP must have first assist) to join our collegial and multi-disciplinary Acute Care Surgery team working with Dr. Ballantyne at our Nampa location, looking for a long-term team member to join! This team prides itself on expert evaluation, management and surgical care with high-quality outcomes, and open line of communication with our referring physician colleagues and departments. We specialize in a variety of surgical procedures: open abdominal surgery, laparoscopic/robotic (spleen, gall bladder, colon, and appendix) surgery, appendectomy, gall bladder surgery, small bowel obstruction surgery, cancer surgery, hernia surgery, splenectomy, and melanoma surgery.

What You Can Expect:

  • M-F schedule with every other Friday off
  • Clinic 3 days per week, OR time, occasional rounding
  • APP will actively manage post op patients and assist in surgeries
  • Entire practice is a team approach
  • Experience preferred
  • Malpractice insurance provided including Tail
  • $3,500 Professional Development Fund
  • 5 CME days are included to complete education aside from accrued PTO

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited school with a minimum of a Master's Degree
  • Graduate education from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program or qualifying education as designated by the Idaho Board of Nursing.
  • Licenses/Certifications: License and certification, as required by the specialty, or be eligible to obtain licensure from Idaho Board of Nursing to practice as a Nurse Practitioner. Must obtain and maintain unrestricted prescriptive authority, DEA, and controlled substance licenses.
