Our four academic sites are the University of Maryland Medical Center - Downton & Midtown Campuses, Mercy Medical Center, and Baltimore Veterans Medical Center are all located in downtown Baltimore.

Company History

The academic department of Emergency Medicine at the University of Maryland has been in existence since 1985 and expanded its services in the early 1990s to include staffing of urban community facilities in downtown Baltimore. In the late 1990s, in response to growing community needs across Maryland, the department expanded again to include Emergency Medicine staffing and management responsibilities in additional communities north of Baltimore in Harford County near to Philadelphia & Wilmington, DE; on Maryland's coastline on the picturesque Eastern Shore surrounded by the stunning Chesapeake Bay, as well as south of Baltimore just outside Washington, DC.
