Company History

SI2, LLC is already a credible leader in the DoD intelligence, special warfare and cyber communities dating back to 2012. In 2016, the Supreme Court made the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) “Rule of Two” mandatory to foster contracting with Veteran-owned enterprises. In essence, the Department of Veterans Affairs must complete a market study on all future solicitations to establish whether the two-competitor benchmark was met, and set-aside the solicitation for Service Disabled Veteran enterprises for bid first. SI2 Health, founded separately in 2017, by two Naval Special Warfare veterans, with experience as patients at the VA saw a need in the market to provide qualified locums providers to compensate for the dwindling VA staff providers and to chip away at the growing patient backlog. Given their expertise in strategic management in the DoD sector, the partners decided to branch off into the medical recruiting sector, primarily focused on providing services to the Department of Veterans Affairs; thus creating, SI2 Health.
