Clinical Role:

- Coverage Dates:
- June 3 - June 17
- June 24 - June 30
- July 23 - August 9
- 24-hour call Coverage
- Average callback hours: 4-6h
- Trauma Level I
- FTE: 1
- Duties: Hospital rounds on CTS patients, OP and IP consults, OR coverage for cardiac surgery and some thoracic trauma.
- Required Procedures: Cardiovascular CT Surgery required. Heart cases roughly 150 cases per year -ECMO cannulation, CABG, harvest veins for call
- EMR: EPIC
- Support Staff: APP coverage: 8am-4:30pm. surgical PA’s covering operative call. NPs cover all days for rounds during the weekends
- Reason for Coverage: ongoing locum need
- Average number of admissions per Provider per day: Varies 1-4
- Case log requirements: Typically, 100 cases in the last year, but if 50 in the last year facility can emergency credential
- Supervising APP
- Is there a PA that can take vein? We have PA coverage for EVH
- Board Certified CT Surgery - Required
- NE Permanent License – Required or IMLC (LOQ in hand)
- ACLS, BLS, DEA Required
