Locums – Silverdale, Washington, Cardiac Anesthesiology Opening (IMLC Accepted)

  • Clinical Role:

    • Urgent dates that need coverage:
      • 6/18-19 or 6/24-25 orientation for June/July starts, 7/9-10, 7/16-17, 7/24-25 August start
    • Ongoing Need Available
    • ORIENTATION: Mandatory attendance at one of the following orientation sessions prior to start, no exceptions. Below are the available dates. Commitment to an orientation date is required upon offer acceptance. Tue-Wed.
    • Orientation Dates:
      • 6/18-19 or 6/24-25 orientation for June/July starts, 7/9-10, 7/16-17, 7/24-25 August start
      • Locum can come in day before first shift or morning before shift starts for Orientation???????
  • Site can align patient care shifts to align with orientation commencement.
  • Shift Duration: Mon-Fri 6a-4:30p
  • Call: 1 night per week (starts after shift ends), and 1 weekend/month. Call ends at 6a the following day.
  • Average Call Back: 1 Hour
  • Setting: Inpatient
  • 1-2 cardiac OR’s
  • 1 EP lab
  • 1 structural interventional lab
  • Duties:
    • How many cardiac cases/week: 2-5
    • Are cardiac cases guaranteed: yes
    • Types of cases: CABG, mv, av, TAVR, LAAC, maze, afib ablations
    • Tee experienced or Certified: preferred, not required.
    • Will they do cardiac and liver transplants: no
    • Will locum take over general cases if there are no cardiac: no
    • Will locum supervise CRNA: no
    • Other anesthesiologist present: present, but not in the same case
  • Required Procedures: CABG, mv, av, TAVR, LAAC, maze, afib ablation
  • EMR: Epic
  • Reason for Coverage: medical leave
  • Board Certification - Required
  • WA License preferred or IMLC in hand
  • Residency Requirements/Fellowship – Required
  • BLS, ACLS, DEA – Required
