We are seeking a Locum Cardiothoracic Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) in beautiful Virginia!
Schedule:
-Monday to Friday
-Shift hours: 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM
-On-call: One night per week
-Weekend coverage: One weekend per month
-Seeking coverage thru October with the possibility to extend.
Responsibilities:
- First assist in CABG, SAVR, and other cardiothoracic procedures.
- Provide comprehensive care, including covering the floor, participating in rounds, and occasional patient visits in the office setting.
- Handle an average of two CABG or SAVR cases per day.
- Experience in Endoscopic Vein Harvesting and full continuum of care is required.
Requirements:
- Certification as a Physician Assistant (PA) or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP)
- Active Virginia state license and DEA certification.
- Prior experience in cardiothoracic surgery required.
- Proficiency in Endoscopic Vein Harvesting (EVH) and full continuum of care.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- 1099 contract with competitive compensation (DOE) plus paid malpractice, travel, housing, and credentialing fees.
