Description Results from the largest secondary stroke-prevention trial showed that the combination of aspirin and extended-release dipyridamole did not meet criteria for noninferiority vs clopidogrel. In a factorial design, results also showed no effect of telmisartan vs placebo in reducing recurrent stroke, major CVD events, or diabetes. Medscape Medical News
