Url http://www.medscape.com/viewarticle/579000?src=rss
Description In a mouse-based study that has seemingly upset a truism of immunology, Yale University researchers have found that B cells, long thought to depend on T cells for activation, can in fact be activated in the absence of T cells. The study, published in the August 7 online issue of Immunity, found that Toll-like receptor (TLR) ligands can play a role in activating autoreactive B cells. Reuters Health Information
