Low Radon Exposure May Be Harmless

Radon levels typically found in homes in the US do not raise the risk of lung cancer, according to findings from a decade-long case-control study. In fact, the dose-response effect of radon exposure may be hormetic, i.e., protective at low doses but harmful at higher levels, the researchers suggest. Reuters Health Information
