No SEISMIC Shift in Outlook for Stem Cell Therapy

Yet another trial of stem cell therapy has failed to deliver any significant results. The phase 1/2 SEISMIC study reported last week did not show any evidence of efficacy with MyoCell skeletal myoblast cell therapy in post-MI heart failure, although the procedure appeared safe.
