Highlights of the American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology 49th Annual Meeting

The 49th annual meeting of the American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology (ASTRO) was held in downtown Los Angeles while the air was still filled with smoke from the extensive fires that had peaked just a week earlier in Southern California. However, by the time the meeting was held, no traffic or other disturbances could interfere with the meeting, which was attended by a record number of attendees (more than 7000). Medscape Radiology
