Urologist - Physician - (Urology - Urol) Locum Tenens
StartDate: 10/06/2014Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
Board Certified or Board Eligible, Urologist to provide coverage as soon as credentialed for 6 months. *Any State License. Work hours are Monday through Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm. No Call. 5 years experience. Diagnose, treat, and manage complex medical diseases. Provide Clinical and outpatient surgical care. Must have a DEA and Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification.
A urologist (locum tenens) treats conditions that affect urinary tracts and reproductive systems of men and women, including organs such as the uterus, urethra, and urinary bladder. These physicians generally work in private practice and their patients are referred to them through primary care or family physicians. Urologists make use of a range of medical technology to assist them in diagnoses, such as x-rays and catheters. They will prescribe medication, physical therapy, make nutritional recommendations and even perform surgeries when necessary.
