Urologist - Physician - (Urology - Urol) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 24 Hour On-Call
Locum Tenens Urologist needed in Florida to provide 24-hour weekend call coverage. Starting March. General Urology. Set schedule includes 2 weekends per month, ongoing. Fridays 8am to Mondays 8am. One to five consults per day, plus rounding on four to eight patients per day. No elective cases. Privileging takes four to six weeks.
A urologist (locum tenens) treats conditions that affect urinary tracts and reproductive systems of men and women, including organs such as the uterus, urethra, and urinary bladder. These physicians generally work in private practice and their patients are referred to them through primary care or family physicians. Urologists make use of a range of medical technology to assist them in diagnoses, such as x-rays and catheters. They will prescribe medication, physical therapy, make nutritional recommendations and even perform surgeries when necessary.
