The Practice:
Blair Medical Associates (BMA) is the premier multispecialty
group practice serving central Pennsylvania
since 1972. BMA is comprised 50 physicians in 12
clinical departments including: Family Medicine,
Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, Dermatology,
Pulmonology, OB/GYN, Pediatrics, Cardiology,
Hematology-Oncology, Plastic Surgery, Neurology,
and Urology. The recently created Urology Department
will serve a growing patient base in the community.
The Opportunity:
Blair Medical Associates is seeking a urologist to join
its newly established Urology Department. The
Department will be comprised of 2 – 3 urologists, one
of which has commenced practicing. A competitive

The Health System:
Altoona Regional Health System is a 500-bed, two hospital
regional health care system providing care to
residents of a six-county area in Central Pennsylvania.
ARHS is a level II trauma center, regional oncology
center, and a Joint Commission – certified stroke
center. As a regional provider of cardiology &
cardiovascular services, ARHS provides over 6,500
diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac catheterizations;
as well as open heart surgery.

The Altoona/Blair County/Central Pennsylvania region
is a family-oriented community with excellent school
systems, abundant cultural amenities, easy access to
larger, neighboring cities, and unlimited outdoor and
recreational opportunities.
