Urology Position:

We are looking for a full-time employee Urologist that can perform diagnostic and most interventional urologic procedures. This practice will be a general urology practice focused mostly adult conditions with a few pediatric patients. The conditions include abnormalities, adrenal & kidney diseases, bladder, cancers, female urology, inflammations, infections, kidney failure, prostate, sexual function, infertility, and stones. In addition, the urology candidate must be either Board Certified or Board Eligible. The regional need for urology is critical because of pending retirements. This is emphasized by the fact that of the six Urologist in the region, half of them are over sixty years old and wanting to slow down or retire.

Hospital currently has 35 employed physicians and we are recruiting an urologist to join our team. Although we are a small health system in rural southeast Idaho, we have grown into a very unique organization that includes a full service hospital, a specialty hospital for spine surgery and a variety of programs that include a general and vascular surgery program, a multi-county lap band program, a large primary care division, the largest regional spine surgery program in southeast Idaho, a regional multi disciplinary pain management program, in-house acute and chronic dialysis department, an interventional radiology program with two IR docs, a new opened Pathology lab with two employed Pathologist, and much more. I know it sounds like a cliché, but you have to see this place to believe it, we are truly like a 5 star hotel. This is a full employment opportunity with no overhead expenses. The hospital pays for all expenses including malpractice. The base salary starts at different levels for each specialty and are based on the national average as a starting point for negotiations.
