Job Description & Requirements
Urologist - Physician - (Urology - Urol) Locum Tenens
An urologist is needed to provide services at this outpatient clinic on a locum tenens basis while regular staff recruitment is in progress. The assignment will begin immediately upon the completion of credentialing and last for approximately twelve months. Working hours are from 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
A urologist (locum tenens) treats conditions that affect urinary tracts and reproductive systems of men and women, including organs such as the uterus, urethra, and urinary bladder. These physicians generally work in private practice and their patients are referred to them through primary care or family physicians. Urologists make use of a range of medical technology to assist them in diagnoses, such as x-rays and catheters. They will prescribe medication, physical therapy, make nutritional recommendations and even perform surgeries when necessary.
Required Qualifications
The physician will have an active BLS and ACLS, and DEA prior to the start date.
