Job Description

Last Update: 2/09/15
Our growing Urgent Care/Occupational Medicine practice is expanding this year and we have an exciting opportunity for a 2014 Resident to join our team in late summer. This is a dream job for the right physician who loves living and working in the Great Smoky Mountains!

We are looking for a BE/BC US Trained Family Practice or Urgent Care physician licensed in Tennessee who would love to live and practice high quality Urgent Care medicine in the Great Smoky Mountains. The 35 minute commute to Knoxville allows the choice of City Living or a Mountain Home residence. We are busy and growing and would like to fill this position as soon as possible. Our growth plans include additional locations and additional physicians in 2014.

You will join two other Board Certified physicians and a Nurse Practitioner who are supported by a staff of Medical Assistants and administrative personnel who love their jobs. This is Level l Urgent Care combined with Occupational Medicine. OccMed experience is a plus, but we are happy to train the right physician in all the specifics of this important part of our practice.

The work schedule will be 3 weeks of 3 -12 hour shifts and 1 week of 4 -12 hour shifts each month. The compensation package is excellent and includes; above average salary guarantee, bonus, health, dental, 401k and mal-practice.

Choosing where to live and practice is one of the most important decisions a physician ever makes. The quality of life in East Tennessee, the beauty of the area, the financial advantages of practicing here, access to all the resources needed to provide outstanding patient care, and the strengths of our practice may help make that decision easy.
