Urgent Care Physician - (Urgent Care) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 12 Hour/Day
Southeastern Alabama Clinic is needing an Urgent Care Locum Tenen Physician to work 12 hour days (8a - 8p) on Thursdays only for at least 3 months starting in May. The Physician will see approximately 50 patients/day, all walk-ins, coughs, colds, flu, and sports injuries. No newborns, obstetrics, casting or suturing required and will be sharing an office with 2 Pediatricians, 4 Family Practitioners, and 2 Physician Assistant's. Call Staff Care today for details!
Urgent Care(locum tenens) is a division of medicine devoted to providing immediate care to patients suffering from acute illness. An urgent care physician must possess a broad fund of knowledge, as they deal with a wide range of cases ranging from complex and exotic to routine on a daily basis. Generally speaking, patients visit urgent care centers when they are unable to see their primary care physician. Urgent care medicine has a lot in common with family and emergency medicines as it is usually a patient's first point of contact for a medical concern.
Required Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible and ACLS Required.
