As an Associate Relations Consultant in Human Resources the incumbent will resolve serious misconduct concerns by conducting thorough, objective, and timely reviews of such concerns:

  • leveraging strong HR experience to facilitate the development and implementation of human capital programs to optimize and improve business outcomes
  • developing an understanding of business needs and objectives, recommending strategies and solutions which will meet those needs and improve business processes and outcomes
  • analyzing organizational effectiveness, associate value and consumer-centric ideals and recommending improvements
  • driving continued cultural transformation through credible, strategic influence among human resource leaders and business leaders
  • enabling trust, engagement and associate value through prompt and appropriate resolution of associate relations issues

Role Essentials

  • Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Business or a related field
  • Advanced HR knowledge, with eight or more years strong HR Generalist experience.
  • Experience in consulting with leaders to develop collaborative business partnerships and recommending effective solutions to problems impacting organizational capability
  • Solid understanding of human behavior, performance, and individual differences
  • Strong written and oral communication skills; superior listening skills and the ability to convey information effectively
  • Comprehensive knowledge of EEO, labor laws and policies, including the Fair Labor Standards Act, Family and Medical Leave Act, and the Americans with Disabilities Act, with demonstrated experience in their application
  • Strong emotional intelligence
  • Intermediate or advanced proficiency with MS Word and Excel

Role Desirables

  • Masters Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or a related field
  • Labor Relations experience

Reporting Relationships

Report to a Human Resources Manager. This area is under the leadership of the SVP & Chief Human Resources Officer.
